Vale Global or PT Sumbawa Timur Mining (PT STM) is a company that owns the Contract of Work (CoW) for the 7th generation Hu’u project. It has been assigned to conduct preliminary surveys and geothermal exploration in Hu’u District, Dompu Regency, West Nusa Tenggara Province, Indonesia. PT STM is committed to contributing to Indonesia’s sustainable development goals through its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, in line with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) point 17, “Partnerships for the Goals.

As a concrete step towards implementing CSR, PT STM collaborates with the community and stakeholders in the operational location of the company. Therefore, the company will implement the Liaison Assistant program in 2023 in Hu’u District, Dompu Regency, West Nusa Tenggara Province.

The Liaison Assistant program for 2023 is a recruitment and development program to become an assistant to support and accompany the community. A Liaison Assistant must have the ability to communicate effectively, understand the needs and perspectives of various parties, and have time management and organizational skills.

The recruitment is carried out to assist the communities in 8 villages in Hu’u District, namely Adu Village, Cempi Jaya Village, Daha Village, Hu’u Village, Jala Village, Merada Village, Rasa Bou Village, and Sawe Village. The tasks of the Liaison Assistant are to build and maintain relationships with the community and the company, organize meetings, help solve problems or conflicts that arise in the community, and build institutions, implementation mechanisms, and accountability in the implementation of the company’s CSR program.
