As a form of supporting government programs to reduce the impact of road accidents, improving the best service from a driver, and open up job opportunities for the community, PT Mitra Pinasthika Mustika Tbk (MPM Group) in collaboration with Smiles for the Nation (SUN) implemented a Corporate Program Social Responsibility (CSR) in the form of professional driving class training.

PT Mitra Pinasthika Mustika Tbk is a large company that has business activities in the automotive, trade, services, industry, and land transportation sectors. The implementation of this program is intended as a corporate social responsibility to take a role in the development to realize the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). In efforts to increase awareness of the surrounding community and stakeholders in participating in complying with all forms of traffic signs and driving discipline, the Life Skill Training Center (LSTC) program – Professional Driving Class 2022 in Semarang City has been implemented.

In addition to delivering material in the room, the practice of becoming a professional driver is also carried out. The practical material presented was the practice of driving a vehicle in a zigzag manner, parallel parking, and the practice of driving a vehicle on the highway by means of commentary driving. At the end of the material session, there was a presentation on first handling in accidents (P3K) and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) techniques.
