Through the WASH (Water, Sanitation & Hygiene) program, Sampoerna with Senyum Untuk Negeri provided 1,000 hamlets, longan, guava, breadfruit, and durian tree seedlings for the reforestation of critical land in the Bekasi and help the SDGs 13 achievement.
Bekasi government expressed its appreciation to Sampoerna and Senyum Untuk Negeri for our concern for the environment, especially in the Bekasi Regency area. He said that he will use this assistance to celebrate World Cleanup Day (WCD) on September 12-18.
Not only a thousand trees but there are also trash cans and gloves. Hopefully, this program can take advantage WCD program. Bekasi government committed that they will restore the quality of the environment from waste and dirt, and we will normalize rivers, close illegal polling stations, and also reforest critical land.
