Cianjur (2/3/19), Senyum Untuk Negeri – The Roadshow English Competition was held again in West Java. Previously, this competition was held in Sukabumi. The English competition, which is part of a series of English Proficiency for Students programs, was held at the Al Riyadl Islamic boarding school in Cianjur, under the care of KH Drs. Pipin S Arifin, MA.The event was held at the Al Riyadl Islamic Boarding School hall which was also attended by H. Herman Suherman, ST. MAP Acting Regent of Cianjur Regency, KH Chaerul Anam Chairman of PCNU Cianjur Regency, AKBP Soliyah SIK MH Cianjur Police Chief, and ranks of Cianjur Regency SKPD.

This means that not only Ustadz / Ustadzah need to be equipped with English language skills, students also need to be trained in English so that later they will be able to become da’wah agents throughout the world. The man who is the Chairman of the Cianjur Regency PCNU also directly invited the students to have a dialogue in English. The Regent together with Sampoerna For Indonesia representatives and invited guests planted trees around Al Riyadl Islamic Boarding School to create a green and beautiful environment as well as education for students to love and care for the environment.

In addition to story telling competitions and bilingual (English-Indonesian) lectures, the activity was also enlivened by the appearance of the talents of the students in the form of musical dramas and vocal groups, all of which were performed in English.

Currently, the students are still competing to show their best performance to be the best. The next English Competition Roadshow is planned to be held in Cirebon as the closing of a series of English Proficiency for Students from PT HM Sampoerna in collaboration with the Smile For Negeri Foundation.
