The Citarum River as one of the largest water potentials in West Java holds great potential for the community, both potentially beneficial and potentially detrimental. Unfortunately, the public and the government tend to be carried away by the beneficial potential of the Citarum river, and unknowingly enlarge the potential losses from the river
the. The reduction in land conservation areas, dense population settlements, river pollution by domestic and industrial waste, and others cause disasters such as floods, droughts, and landslides.
This is a problem that must be resolved jointly between the government and the community.

The bamboo trees planted on the riverbanks in addition to absorbing carbon dioxide also function to strengthen the soil so as to prevent landslides. In addition, it is also able to maintain and maintain environmental balance in the Citarum watershed.
With the increase in the number of trees, it will certainly increase the amount of oxygen in order to reduce existing pollution and this is certainly very important for human survival, and also the existing ecosystems where global warming has also become a world issue.
